bless. healthy shopping habits

Whether you want to track how and why you spend your money, declutter your home and mind from overwhelming material possessions, embrace a lifestyle as a dedicated or beginner minimalist, or simply live more mindfully and in line with your values, bless is here to guide you. Our tiny raccoon will help you gain insight into your shopping habits and build a healthier relationship with material possessions. Mindful Wishlist/Want List: This feature allows you to add items you want to get, rather than buying them instantly. After a predetermined number of days, bless prompts you to reconsider these items, helping you evaluate whether you truly need or want them. This friction in the purchase process encourages conscious consumption and reduces unnecessary spending. Expense Tracker/Got List: With bless, you can effortlessly track your expenses and keep a close eye on where your money goes. By visualizing your spending patterns, you’ll be empowered to make informed decisions and align your purchases with your values. Not Wanted Anymore/Didn’t Get List: This feature allows you to catalog the items you once desired but ultimately decided not to get. By documenting your reasoning, you can appreciate your mindful choices and free up mental space, while tracking how much money you have saved by limiting your spending. “Should I?” Test: When you’re on the verge of making a purchase, use the “Should I?” Test found in the Learn section. This tool guides you through a series of questions and prompts, helping you evaluate your true need for a particular product and encouraging thoughtful reflection before a purchase. Educational Content and Tips: We provide a brief library of educational content, covering various aspects of mindful shopping, minimalism, and conscious consumerism. Our raccoon also gives you everyday bite-sized tips that inspire and motivate you toward mindful consumption. Future Updates: In future versions of bless. we plan to add: ⁃ currency conversion system for users around the globe and those who travel a lot, ensuring that bless is accessible to everyone ⁃ challenges to further motivate and engage you in mindful shopping practices ⁃ satisfaction tracker, so you can be sure which of your previous purchases brings joy and fulfillment to your life ⁃ A Chrome Extension: We’ll also have a convenient Chrome extension for you. Whenever you’re browsing a product page, our extension will prompt you to pause and consider whether you truly want to make the purchase. This gentle reminder fosters mindfulness and helps you make better choices while exploring the vast online marketplace.
