TraceSpark: Language Stories

Save them in any app on your phone and they come back inside a story you can listen to on a walk or a commute. HOW IT WORKS 1. Save from anywhere on your phone Select text in any app and send it to TraceSpark. Share a screenshot: circle, underline or highlight a word first, and TraceSpark takes what you marked plus the sentence around it. Type a word in directly, or long-press one you do not know inside a story. Text you save offline is translated once you reconnect. 2. Get more than a translation A saved item, a Trace, comes back with a translation, a definition written in your target language and a note on register and nuance, plus a note on how it behaves in your region where that differs. Words, phrases, grammar points and cultural concepts are each handled as what they are. 3. Listen to what your words became A Spark is one episode. Start a series and TraceSpark plans a ten-part arc before it writes chapter one, then carries the previous chapter forward so the story stays continuous. Your saved words and phrases are woven into each chapter, and a second pass checks which ones appeared, conjugations and inflections included. Then the chapter is narrated and saved to your phone, so playback needs no signal. TEN GENRES, OR YOUR OWN Mystery, romance, sci-fi, slice of life and six more. Or write your own genre, characters, setting and house rules: each one goes straight into what gets written. Ask for a suggested premise and TraceSpark builds it around the words you get wrong most. LISTEN ANYWHERE Pick the narrator's voice, or leave it on Auto. Lock-screen and notification controls, headset buttons, and speed from 0.8x to 1.3x. Playback pauses when you take your headphones out or a call comes in. THREE WAYS TO FOLLOW A STORY The player on its own, the player with the full script on screen, or a paginated reader. GRADE WITHOUT LEAVING THE STORY A grading console sits at the bottom of the screen for words and phrases: Again, Hard, Good, Easy, with an undo window and a recall sheet at the end of the episode. SCHEDULED WITH FSRS-6 TraceSpark schedules your reviews with FSRS-6, the same open-source algorithm Anki ships, at a 90% retention target. WRITTEN TO YOUR LEVEL Choose A1 through C2. Your level sets episode length, sentence length, grammar range, plot complexity, register and the narrator's writing style. 14 LANGUAGES 17 options across 14 languages: Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French (France and Canada), Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Italian, German, Dutch, English, Bengali, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Polish, Russian and Turkish, plus an optional accent field for your own region.
