ShareCostsNow: split expenses

Split the costs of a shared home, a trip or a dinner without doing sums by hand or arguing over a number. Add an expense in seconds, split a receipt line by line and see who owes whom, down to the cent. A RECEIPT, LINE BY LINE Take a photo of the receipt, upload the PDF the shop gives you or paste the text. ShareCostsNow turns it into lines with their amounts. You decide who each line is for: everyone, one person or several. The beers go to whoever drank them, the shampoo to whoever uses it, and the shared items are split equally. The app checks that the lines add up to the receipt total and tells you if they don't. EXPENSES AS THEY REALLY WERE • Equally, by percentage or with exact amounts. • Only among the people who were there: untick whoever isn't in. • Paid by several, when each person put in part of it. • Income and refunds, which are split too. • Fixed expenses that add themselves every month: rent, internet, electricity. • Expenses in another currency, converted at the European Central Bank rate of the day or at the rate you enter. WHO OWES WHOM Every group shows each person's balance and the plan to get everyone to zero with the fewest payments. When you settle up, the message to send with the payment is ready, and you can remind whoever still owes. PEOPLE WITHOUT THE APP Not everyone is going to install something. Add someone as a temporary person and record their expenses all the same; once they've settled up, they leave the group and their history stays. If they want to join, send them their link and they come in with their own account and everything they already had. SAY IT IN ONE SENTENCE Type or dictate "I paid 24 € for a taxi with Sara and Pablo" and the assistant prepares the expense: the amount, who paid and how it's split. You check it and save it, or change it. It also answers "How much do I owe?". YOUR DATA From your account we only keep your name and email address. Receipt photos are read on your own phone; reading with AI is optional, has a monthly allowance on the free plan and only receives the text of the receipt, never the photo.
