연명의료 정보처리시스템 애플리케이션은 『연명의료결정법』에 따라 국립연명의료관리기관에서 운영하는 정보처리시스템 중 하나로 사전연명의료의향서 등록기관 및 의료기관윤리위원회가 설치된 의료기관에서 관련 문서 작성을 지원하기 위한 서비스입니다. 따라서 정보처리시스템(https://intra.lst.go.kr)에서 이미 지정 또는 등록이 완료된 기관에서 사용자 승인을 받은 사람만 서비스에 접근할 수 있습니다. [사전연명의료의향서 등록기관] 사전연명의료의향서 등록기관은 『연명의료결정법』에 따라 보건복지부 지정을 받아 사전연명의료의향서의 작성·등록을 지원하고 등록·변경·철회 요청된 사전연명의료의향서를 관리기관에 통보하고 관리하는 업무를 담당합니다. 이를 위해 연명의료 정보처리시스템 애플리케이션은 등록기관 사용자(상담자)가 사전연명의료의향서의 작성·변경·철회 등의 신청 업무를 지원합니다. 애플리케이션으로 작성·변경·철회된 사전연명의료의향서는 등록기관 관리자(등록자)가 그 내용을 확인하여 국립연명의료관리기관에 통보해야 합니다. [의료기관윤리위원회를 등록한 의료기관] 『연명의료결정법』에 따라 연명의료중단등결정 및 그 이행에 관한 업무를 수행하려는 의료기관을 말합니다. 이에 따라 연명의료 정보처리시스템 애플리케이션은 해당 의료기관에서 담당의사가 연명의료계획서 등 관련 문서를 작성·등록 및 변경·철회하는 업무를 지원합니다.
