Binder

Doomscrolling. Rage bait. Chronically online. We aren't here to overwrite these realities - we are here to take back control of the narrative. Binder is a new generation of social infrastructure built to reconnect you to yourself, and your communities. We’ve stripped away the old-school architecture and replaced it with a system designed for high-agency, intentional human connection. Reach A live map of what's happening around you. • See Signals, Plans, events and places in your area. • Find something you could still join tonight, not something you missed last week. • Reach uses an approximate area of about 500m, and Binder doesn't track you in the background. Signals A way to show what you're up to and what you're looking for. • Share a photo and a line about what you're doing, where and when. • Choose how long it stays live, from a few hours up to two days. • When someone taps "I'm coming", you're in the same Plan and the same Conversation. Presence Your profile, rebuilt around who you are and where you want to show up. • Set what you're Open To, so people can see what you're up for right now. • See your Orbit, the people you've already aligned with. Filter it by Signals, interests or Open To to see who already wants to do what you want to do. • Your name is the only thing you have to add. Everything else is your choice. Conversations Where you chat and make plans. • Every Conversation starts from something: a Signal, a Plan or a community. No cold messages. • Sort out the details and get from the chat to the meet-up. • Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Communities Spaces for scenes, collectives and crews. • Members share Signals, events and conversations in one place. • If you run a community, you decide who can join, who can post and how it appears. You can also approve applications and appoint moderators. Plans What's coming up, and what you've been part of. • Keep everyone in the loop when plans change. • Look back on what you've actually done, not what you posted. • Connect your calendar to block out time and add Binder plans to it. Why Binder Social media got some things right. You should have a presence online and a place to show who you are. It should show you to the people you share things with, not perform you for a feed. Build your Presence, look after your Orbit, and show up. Move intent into action. Welcome to Binder. Built on presence, built by you.
