ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — WHY BEYOND ALARM ASKS FOR IT Beyond Alarm is not an accessibility tool and does not present itself as one. It uses Android's AccessibilityService API, only with your permission, to enforce the rules you set for yourself. • While an alarm is ringing, it prevents leaving the alarm flow without completing the mission you chose. • During a Morning Lockout or Night Lockout, it keeps the lockout screen active until your selected time ends. • During an app block, it detects which app is currently in the foreground so it can block the apps you selected while leaving other apps available. Beyond Alarm does not read, collect, store or share your screen content, messages or anything you type. Everything stays on your device. The service is optional, remains off until you enable it, and only acts while an alarm, lockout or app block you started is active. You can disable it at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.
