BetterKhutbah Display

BetterKhutbah Display turns a TV in your mosque into a live caption screen for the khutbah. As the imam speaks, the Arabic appears on screen together with its translation, so everyone in the hall can follow along in a language they understand. How it works • Install the app on an Android TV or Google TV in the hall. • The TV shows a six-digit code and a QR code. • Enter the code in your mosque's BetterKhutbah dashboard, and the screen is paired. No typing on the TV. • When the khutbah starts, captions appear on their own. When it ends, the screen shows a QR code so people can open the full transcript on their phones. Made for the hall • Large, clear text that can be read from the back of the room. • The Arabic and one or more translations, shown side by side. • Quran verses and hadith are shown in an approved translation, never machine-translated. • The newest lines always stay in view, with no scrolling needed. Controlled with the TV remote Press OK on the remote to open the settings: • Choose which language to show, or show all of them. • Make the text larger or smaller. • Start or end the khutbah from the TV, if your mosque allows it and a microphone is paired. • Unpair the screen. Private by design The app collects no analytics and no advertising identifiers. The TV stores only the pairing it needs to receive your mosque's captions. Requires a BetterKhutbah account This app is the screen for a BetterKhutbah mosque account. The captions come from your mosque's live khutbah, so a mosque account is needed to use it.
