Beluga Pods

Beluga Pods - Be More Beluga Small Acts, Big Impact: Join the Social Connection Revolution Beluga Pods is tackling the loneliness epidemic head-on. We are helping people rebuild real-world connections, rediscover purpose, and find genuine belonging, beyond their screens. Even if you may not be ‘lonely’ someone else may be and we can build a more connected society, where we are there for each other. Why Beluga? Just like beluga whales who thrive in close-knit pods of 5–25 members, supporting and protecting one another, we believe humans are meant to connect. Our mission is simple: help you get off our phones and focus on what matters most, people, presence, and purpose. Why Track Social Connection? We track our steps. We track our food. Why not track what matters most—our connections? Social connection is the foundation of wellbeing, yet it's the one thing we don't measure. Until now. The 1 Million Social Connection Minutes Campaign Make connection measurable, visible, and actionable. Every meaningful interaction counts: • Check in on a friend or neighbour • Speak to a stranger and show someone they matter - whether Good Morning to a few people or asking how someone is and having a chat • Help someone in need • Join a community moment • Volunteer your time • Step out of your comfort zone - try a new hobby or interest you have been meaning to Each action becomes a tracked Social Connection Minute that improves your wellbeing and strengthens community culture. Empowerment Through Connection Beluga Pods empowers and nudges you to take control of your social wellbeing and grow beyond your comfort zone. We start with connection to yourself first, through our Mood Tracker & Self-Help Journal, daily small tasks, affirmations, and Beluga Pal (your AI companion). Through reflection tools, personal growth insights, and habit building, you will give yourself the time and grace to recognise that you are great, and that you have the power to bring people together and solve real problems. Build healthier boundaries with technology while using it mindfully to foster authentic human connection. How It Works Through our unique blend of AI, gamification, and community features, Beluga Pods transforms connection from abstract to achievable. Track your impact, discover local opportunities, reflect on your growth, and see how small daily actions create ripples of positive change. Use the app for a few minutes each day, then step away and take real-world action because true connection starts offline. More Coming Soon We are building features to help you connect with like-minded people and join sociable pods for real-world friendships based on lived experiences. Breaking the Stigma We're a social impact startup on a mission to normalise talking about loneliness and actively building connection. Because everyone deserves to belong. Be More Beluga.
