Full description
BellySignal is a free poop tracker and bowel movement diary for Android. Log each bowel movement on the Bristol stool chart, add urine color, water and food triggers, and look back at constipation, diarrhea and bloating over time. No subscription and no account needed to start. Many people keep a bowel diary while tracking IBS, food sensitivities or everyday changes in digestion. BellySignal keeps those notes in one place, and before an appointment you can export a 90-day PDF report to show your doctor. WHAT YOU CAN LOG • Poop: Bristol stool type 1 to 7, color, blood or mucus • How it felt: belly pain, bloating, urgency, straining • Pee: urine color • Water: cups toward a daily goal, with your own cup size in mL or fl oz • Food and habits: coffee, alcohol, dairy, spicy food, stress, poor sleep • Daily life: supplements, weight, exercise, sleep, stress, mood • Period days, if you turn them on KEEP A BOWEL MOVEMENT DIARY Choose a Bristol stool type from 1 to 7, record color, and note blood or mucus you notice. Add belly pain, bloating, urgency or straining when they happen. Every entry sits on a day timeline, so you can see what came before and after a hard or loose stool. TRACK WATER AND URINE COLOR Set a daily water goal, match the cup size to the glass or bottle you actually use, and log water in mL or fl oz. Record urine color alongside it. Water reminders are optional. LOOK BACK AT FOOD TRIGGERS Add coffee, alcohol, dairy, spicy food, stress or poor sleep to look back at what happened around changes in your digestion. A pattern does not prove that a food caused a symptom. REVIEW TRENDS AND EXPORT A PDF Trends shows stool form, how often you go, belly symptoms, water, sleep and stress over time. "This week vs. usual" compares the week with the four weeks before it. Export a PDF summary of the last 90 days from Settings and choose whether to share it at a medical appointment. You can also export a backup file and restore it later. STORAGE AND ANALYTICS Your diary is stored locally by default. An account is optional and does not currently sync your health diary between devices. You choose where exported files go and whether to enable health-platform integration. Some health values, including stool type, symptoms and manually entered weight, are sent to PostHog, which is on by default. The Usage analytics switch controls PostHog only. Firebase Analytics receives usage events without those health values and stays active even when the switch is off. Deleting local entries does not automatically delete analytics data that has already been sent. You can delete your diary entries in Settings. FREE AND SIMPLE • Free, with no subscription • No account required • Home screen widget: log water, poop, pee or coffee with one tap • Daily reminder to log • Available in 15 languages BellySignal is a self-recording tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose IBS, food intolerance or other conditions, determine the cause of symptoms, or provide treatment. It does not treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Discuss concerns with a qualified healthcare professional.

What's new

• Log caffeine and alcohol. Caffeine shows an estimated daily total based on typical amounts • After you log a poop, one sentence sums up your week so far • The digestion card names only foods still digesting. Tap it to see when each food should be done • "Period" now shows in the + button. Turn it off in "Edit log items" • The widget picker shows a real preview and the widget's name • Logging water from the home screen widget uses your "Cup size" instead of always 250 mL
