Be Good

Giving feels good. Science says so, and so will your heart. Once a month, choose someone you have never met and send them a coin. A small act that warms your day and theirs. An app that is good for you, and that puts a little happiness back into your life. It is not a promise and it will not land the same way for everyone. But once you start giving coins to people, it tends to leave you feeling better than you did. Try it and see. Be Good is a membership app built around one act. Once a month you choose a person you have never met, and a coin from you lands in their collection. That is the whole of it. HOW IT WORKS Your membership gives you a choice each month - one on the smaller plans, three or six on the larger ones. You open the gallery, you pick somebody, and a coin is theirs. It arrives the moment you give it - nothing is held back and nothing is delayed. Nobody can be chosen more than once in a calendar month. That rule exists so coins reach as many people as possible rather than gathering around a few. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING, SAID PLAINLY Your membership pays for using the app and for the right to choose who receives a coin from you. It does not buy a coin for you. Coins come from other members, never from us. You may go months without being chosen, and you may never be chosen at all. That is not a fault in the service - it is what the service is. Here, people give. Receiving is a surprise, never a promise. Payment is handled by Google from start to finish. We never see your card details and we never store them. The only record we keep is whether your membership is active. WHAT OTHERS SEE ABOUT YOU Another member can see your first name and your picture. Nothing else, ever. No last name, no address, no phone number. THE PRIZE DRAW Collecting five coins enters you automatically. There is nothing to fill in and nothing to send. A draw is not held until 80 per cent of everyone registered is holding five coins - which means a draw may be a long way off, or may never happen at all. Each draw has one winner, who chooses one prize. Prizes are awarded inside the United States only, to members aged 18 and over whose email address is confirmed. No purchase is necessary. The full rules are in the app and on our website, and anybody may read them without entering. A DEED A DAY A small thing to do, offered each morning. It grants nothing and unlocks nothing. It is there because it is worth doing.
