Shiftlyx: Shift Planner

Shiftlyx is a shift planner built by a nurse, for everyone who works shifts. Not a calendar with a night mode bolted on. A shift work schedule that understands a run of nights is a different physiological state, that a long day and a night shift on the same date means nobody is home, and that "are you free Thursday" is a harder question than any office worker will ever have to answer. Built first for healthcare shift workers — nurses, paramedics, doctors, midwives, healthcare assistants — because that is the hardest version of the problem. It works exactly the same way for police, firefighters, hospitality, warehouse and logistics, manufacturing, security, and anyone else on a rota or rotating roster. SEE THE BAD WEEK BEFORE YOU'RE IN IT The Shiftlyx fatigue engine scores your whole rota, not one shift at a time. It reads shift type, shift length, transitions between day and night shifts, recovery gaps, night density and consecutive days, and turns them into one score you can act on. Most shift planner apps show you a calendar. This one tells you what the calendar is going to do to you. KNOW WHAT YOU EARNED, BEFORE PAYDAY Every long day, every night shift, every unsocial hour, added up from your rota. Base pay, night premiums and weekend enhancements broken down, plus your real effective hourly rate. UK and US pay setups both supported, so a band or a straight hourly rate both work. MY CREW — FIND THE DAY EVERYONE IS ACTUALLY FREE Getting eight people from the same team into one room is impossible by text message. Someone is on nights. Someone has just come off them. Import your rotas and Shiftlyx finds the day for you: who is free, who is free-ish and could make it around a shift, and who is working. It knows who is coming off nights and should not be counted. Plan the outing in seconds instead of forty messages. PARTNER SYNC — CHILDCARE COVERAGE FOR TWO SHIFT WORKERS Put your roster next to your partner's and Shiftlyx reads every single day of the month. Both of you off is a shared day off. One of you off means childcare is covered. Both of you working is the day you need to know about, well before it arrives. It counts your shared days off, flags the uncovered weekends, and shows you the longest run of days where neither of you is home. PLAN WITH YOUR VOICE Say "nights this month, weekends off, max three in a row" and Florence builds the plan. No forms, no settings screens. ALSO INSIDE Rota and roster import from an iCal link, a file, or paste Night shift recovery, sleep windows and recovery readiness Commute timing so a bad journey does not cost you a shift Shift swap preview Eight shift work patterns, so the dashboard matches how you actually work 12 hour shifts, twilights, long days, earlies, lates and nights all supported YOUR EMPLOYER CANNOT SEE ANY OF THIS Shiftlyx is not connected to your employer's rostering system and never will be.
