MC & Teck Connector Select Live

Pick your cable. Get every connector that fits it from the nine brands below, with the part numbers. Works offline. No account, no sign-in, nothing collected. WHY IT EXISTS Catalogue suffixes look interchangeable and they are not. Techspan TKMC050A075 covers 0.520-0.720". Texcan 18-TMC2-050A075 covers 0.500-0.750". Of the 20 suffix and hub pairs those two brands share, 19 disagree - and 1,526 cables in this app's own table fit one and not the other. Cross-referencing by part number gets it wrong. This app matches on the published cable range instead. WHAT IS IN IT - 385 fittings from 9 brands - 4,270 cables from 12 manufacturers - ABB / Thomas & Betts Star Teck and Star Teck XP, Centaur C-TEK, Iberville CITEK, Techspan TKMC, Texcan / CMP TMC2, Crouse-Hinds Terminator II, Killark MC, Remke PowR-Teck, O-Z/Gedney Type PG - Hub size, cable range, throat, length and across-the-body on every fitting that publishes them - Original cross-section drawings with each fitting's own dimensions printed on the picture, not letters to look up in a legend HOW IT WORKS The cable maker publishes an outside diameter over the jacket. The fitting maker publishes a range. If the diameter falls inside the range, the fitting goes on the list. That is the whole method - nothing else decides what appears. CANADA AND THE US Teck in Canada, MC in the United States. Same fittings either side of the border. The region switch changes the cable names, not the part numbers. CLASS I DIVISION 1 Centaur C-TEK and Techspan TKMC are Division 2 and are never offered as the answer to an explosion-proof question. NOT A CODE TOOL This app answers one question: does this fitting close on this cable? It does not rate installations, check listings or replace the code book. Always verify against the manufacturer's published data and the code in force in your jurisdiction. Built for and by a working master electrician. Bear Knowledge - For Electricians, by Electricians.
