SunStill

SunStill is a quiet sky that follows the real one. By day it's a calm blue sky with slow, drifting clouds and a single word for you. A new word arrives each morning at sunrise. About fifteen minutes before your sunset, the sky begins to turn: gold, then orange, then deep red and blue, following the real sun where you are. Two minutes before the sun meets the horizon, one line appears, written for that evening. Then the screen fades to dark along with the sun. The line shows once. If you missed it because you were watching the real sunset, SunStill did its job. Every evening has its own line, and everyone gets the same one on the same date, each under their own sky. Solstices, equinoxes, meteor showers and holidays have lines written for the day. A BELL, NOT A SERMON • One quiet notification a day, as the sky begins to turn. It follows your phone's own sound settings. • No streaks, no badges, no goals, no reminders. • No narrator telling you how to breathe or what to feel. • Nothing to finish, and nothing to keep up with. Miss a sunset and there's another tomorrow. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No internet access. SunStill cannot connect to anything, so nothing about you ever leaves your phone. • Approximate location only, used on your phone to find your sunset. Or choose a city instead. • No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Everything else on your phone wants something from you. This doesn't. Made in St. Pete Beach, Florida, by Beach Bum Tech.
