Diamond Cadence

Diamond Cadence is a Russian-language, dark theme training helper for friendly baseball practice. It helps a practice leader organize the rotation of batter, pitcher and catcher so participants get their next at-bat in a clear order. This is not a game and does not judge sporting skill. It does not detect hits, ball speed, contact, technique or performance quality. It is designed as a simple practice control panel used by the leader away from the ball movement area. Plan a practice with a title, date, selected participants, starting batting queue and allowed roles for each person. The app checks that three different available people can fill the active roles and explains the first proposed rotation before you begin. If the selected group cannot work with the chosen restrictions, the setup is saved as a draft so you can adjust it later. During practice, the main screen shows three large rows for batter, pitcher and catcher, plus a compact waiting queue with completed at-bat counts. Tap to confirm a completed at-bat, and Diamond Cadence increases only the current batter’s count before suggesting the next valid shift. The next batter is chosen from available participants with the fewest completed at-bats, using the saved queue order to break ties. Other roles follow their permissions, current availability and rotation history. You can temporarily exclude a person from rotation, bring them back, replace suggested assignments before confirming, skip without counting an at-bat, and undo the last confirmed action. Manual replacements do not reset counters. If a valid shift cannot be assembled, the app explains why without silently changing your restrictions. Participant management is local. Add, edit, search and archive participants, set their allowed roles, and turn off pitcher or catcher rotation for someone who is serving as a fixed helper. Archiving does not alter already saved practices, and similar names are allowed with a warning. When practice ends, review each participant’s at-bats and supporting assignments. The results show actual count differences without rankings, winners or promises of equal turns after manual changes. You can add a note, return to an unfinished practice before final saving, and review the action history to see confirmed and undone shifts. Saved practice details include the date, roster snapshot, role restrictions, assignments, final counters and notes. Search saved practices, rename a record, edit its note, create a new practice from the same roster with fresh counters, or delete a record with confirmation. In saved practice details only, you may attach a local photo of a paper reminder using the camera. If camera permission is denied, the record remains available and the app explains how to change permission in system settings. Photos can be replaced or removed and are stored locally. Diamond Cadence works without internet, registration, remote services or network requests. Practices, participants, notes, assignments, actions, reminders and settings are stored on the device. Unfinished practice progress is saved after each confirmed change, so returning to the app continues from the last saved shift. Settings include haptic confirmation, the default name for a new practice, a short rotation guide, and a local star rating dialog with an optional comment. The rating is saved only on the device and is not published to the store.
