Kompilasi hukum Islam terdiri dari 3 (tiga) buku, yaitu Buku I tentang Hukum Perkawinan, Buku II tentang Hukum Kewarisan dan Buku III tentang Hukum Perwakafan. Secara keseluruhan kompilasi Hukum Islam itu terdiri atas 229 pasal, terdiri dari 3 kelompok materi hukum yaitu hukum perkawinan (170 pasal), hukum kewarisan termasuk hibah dan wasiat (44 pasal), dan hukum perwakafan (14 pasal), ditambah satu pasal ketentuan penutup yang berlaku untuk ketiga kelompok hukum tersebut, adapun rinciannya seperti di bawah ini.
