Soil First: Plant Care Journal

More houseplants are lost to too much water than too little. Soil First asks you to check the soil before you water, and sends one calm daily digest instead of a flood of reminders. A plant care journal for your houseplants. No account, no sign-up, no cloud: your plants, notes and photos stay on your phone. CHECK THE SOIL FIRST • Before you log watering, Soil First asks one question: is the top inch of soil dry? • Soil still wet? Snooze it. That counts as good care, and if it keeps happening, Soil First suggests a longer interval • Care rhythms for over 100 houseplants, each with light needs, difficulty and a short care tip • Intervals stretch in winter and shorten in summer, based on the region you pick. No location needed ONE DAILY DIGEST • One digest at the time you choose, only on days a plant needs care. Never a notification per plant • Quiet hours, and a pause for when you are away • Today lists what needs care right now WATCH THEM GROW • Growth photos build a timeline for every plant • Condition check-ins, and a gentle follow-up a few days after you report a plant struggling • Rooms, search and sorting as your collection grows INSIGHTS THAT HELP • A care report card, your watering rhythm, condition trends and seasonal rhythm • A nudge when you tend to water early, and a list of plants that need a look A HABIT, NOT A CHORE • Streaks, levels and 12 badges that reward attention and observation, never how often you water • Two streak freezes a month for the days life gets in the way YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • Your plants, notes and photos stay on your device. Photos are never uploaded • Export a backup file to your own Drive or email, and restore it on a new phone (photos stay on the phone) • No account, no server, no analytics • Nothing you record is ever sent to the ad network • Light and dark themes FREE, WITH ADS Soil First is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob: a banner on some screens, an occasional full-screen ad after you add a plant (at most once each time you open the app), and an optional video you can choose to watch to earn an extra streak freeze. No ads the first time you open the app, and never in the middle of a task. Made by Baron Mobile Games. Privacy policy: https://barongamesup.github.io/soilfirst/privacy.html
