Later: Journal for Future You

Later is a private journal where time becomes part of your writing. Write a thought, a memory, or a letter to your future self. Keep it for today, or seal it until a date you choose. Once sealed, it stays closed—even to you—until the moment arrives. No countdown. No early preview. Just the quiet experience of meeting the person you were. A different way to journal: - Most diary apps help you remember the past. - Later helps you create moments for the future. - Write after a meaningful day, before a big decision, on your birthday, or during an ordinary afternoon. Months or years later, your words return exactly when you planned them to. Features • Write freely — from a single sentence to a long personal letter • Seal letters in time — choose any future date, from tomorrow to years ahead • Return to your past self — open sealed letters only when their day arrives • Feeling Threads — revisit every letter written with the same emotion across different chapters of your life • Private by design — protect everything with PIN, Face ID, or fingerprint authentication • Encrypted on your device — your journal stays on your phone, not on someone else's server Your Journal Belongs To You Later is built for privacy from the beginning. - No account required - No cloud storage by default - No ads - No tracking - No AI reading your journal - No data collection beyond what's needed for the app to function Your letters never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to create your own backup. For the person you'll become - Some thoughts are meant for today. - Others deserve to wait. - Write honestly, seal what matters, and let time decide when you meet those words again. Later is your private diary, your time capsule, and a conversation with your future self.
