Full description
BandTrue Privilege is an offline-first amateur-radio band-plan workshop for Technician-class newcomers, club VE mentors, Field Day operators, and returning Generals. It does not log a single contact. It exists so you know whether your license class may transmit in a segment. Pan HF from 160m to 10m on a strip seeded with color bricks for CW, data, and phone so the home surface is never empty. A VHF/UHF strip covers 6m, 2m, 1.25m, and 70cm, separating FM and repeater windows from SSB and weak-signal segments. The strips behave like a transceiver LCD: pan, tap an allocation brick, and read license class, mode, and power. Use the license-class dimmer (Technician, General, Extra) to grey illegal segments and stamp a privilege chip on every tap. See which phone edges Extra class owns and which slices a Technician must leave alone—before you key a mic. Then prove it, still offline: • Privilege exam of original multiple-choice items on whether a Technician may transmit here, with band-edge explanations • ITU phonetic alphabet drill that shuffles callsign-like strings and scores accuracy • Q-signal and RST crib with search, a 10-card flash quiz, and rationales • Glossary cards for wavelength versus band, ITU Region 2 notes, and why Extra class owns the edges Build and plan from the same tap. The dipole and quarter-wave calculator reads the tapped frequency and honors meters or feet. The repeater-offset helper includes seeded 2m and 70cm standard offsets plus a CTCSS tone study list. It is a study aid, not a live scanner. A glance widget and a segment-of-the-morning notification keep one allocation in view. Only quiz scores are stored on the device. There is no station log, no contact history, and no account required to study. BandTrue Privilege is a pocket workshop, not a logging app and not a radio. Learn the plan here; take that knowledge to your transceiver.

What's new

Pan the seeded HF (160m–10m) and VHF/UHF strips and tap any color brick for class, mode, and power. Switch the Technician, General, or Extra dimmer to grey illegal segments and stamp a privilege chip. Drill ITU phonetics, Q-signals, RST, and original may-you-transmit-here quizzes. Calculate dipole length from the tapped frequency and study 2m/70cm repeater offsets and CTCSS tones—offline, with no station log.
