BalloonLog

Ensure flawless airworthiness compliance, eliminate tracking gaps, and digitize your entire hot air balloon operation. BalloonLog serves as a specialized aviation assistant and digital logbook engineered for balloon pilots and ground crews to execute rigorous pre-flight inspections, maintain meticulous flight logs, and monitor structural maintenance timelines in complete alignment with aviation standards. Core Aviation Features & Mechanics: Granular Pre-Flight Checklist: Replace paper sheets with a step-by-step digital inspection protocol. Tap through essential airworthiness categories before takeoff, flag issues, add custom notes, and securely finalize reports using the Sign Checklist action block: Envelope: Verify Fabric Condition, Crown Ring attachment, Parachute Valve operation, Vent Lines, and vertical/horizontal Load Tapes. Basket: Check Wicker Condition for structural wear, Uprights & Frame integrity, Floor Condition, and examine Cables & Karabiners. Burners: Validate Burner Ignition, Fuel Hoses, Blast Valve sealing, and the structural Burner Frame mechanism. Fuel Cylinders: Inspect Cylinder Condition for structural anomalies, Valves & Fittings, Fuel Level safety limits, and Securing Straps. Instruments: Confirm proper calibration and function for the Altimeter, Variometer, Temperature Gauge, and Radio. Comprehensive Flight Logging Terminal: Document every voyage down to the exact technical parameter. Create distinct flight profiles with a dedicated workflow recording: Session Identification: Log custom labels (such as Morning commercial) and capture precise Takeoff and Landing times. Payload Metrics: Track precise Passenger counts and Propane Consumption (gal) parameters. Meteorological Monitoring: Document environmental variables at launch and landing, detailing exact Wind limitations and Temperature thresholds. Operational Notes: Log unexpected irregularities, layout observations, or critical passenger notes directly to the entry card. Airworthiness Maintenance Hub: Track mandatory manufacturer intervals, fabric tensile tests, and envelope porosity checks directly against your accumulated flight hours. Utilize interactive filter chips to isolate tasks seamlessly across All, Due soon, Overdue, and On track categories to make sure no regulatory obligation is overlooked. Fleet Analytics & Configuration Dashboard: At-a-Glance Telemetry Tiles: Monitor your active status from the home screen using dynamic data counters tracking cumulative Flight Hours, upcoming inspection alerts (Next Due), Pending checklist completions, and Overdue maintenance statuses. Interactive Reports Engine: Review long-term operational efficiency summaries. The analytical reporting page tracks historical fleet metrics across customized date ranges: Total Flights and cumulative Flight Hours. Overall Passengers carried and lifetime Propane (gal) consumption. Live Maintenance Status updates detailing completed, upcoming, and overdue milestones alongside clean monthly breakdown charts.
