Backyard

Backyard is the home for community sports events. Whether you're organising a Sunday box-cricket league, running a neighbourhood tournament, or just showing up to play with friends, Backyard turns the chaos of hosting real-world events into something calm, share-worthy, and finished in minutes. Every feature is designed around one idea: local sport, done together, done properly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ IF YOU'RE HOSTING AN EVENT • Publish a tournament in under 5 minutes — title, venue map, ticket tiers, capacity, refund window. Ready to accept registrations the moment you tap Save. • Run real formats — league stages, knockouts, brackets, and auto-generated fixtures across multiple grounds, with rest days and umpire slots handled for you. • Sell tickets and register teams with secure UPI, card, wallet, and net-banking checkout powered by Razorpay. • Scan QR tickets at the gate with the built-in scanner — no third-party turnstiles, no printed lists. • Send push notifications to teams, sponsors, and fans without leaving the app. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ IF YOU'RE PLAYING • Find open tournaments and leagues near you — filter by sport, date, format, or entry fee. • Register your team, upload your squad, and pay entry fees in one flow. • Join live auctions — bid on players in real time, manage team wallets, and see sold/unsold rounds update instantly. • Follow your career — batting, bowling, and fielding stats compile automatically across every game you play on Backyard. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ IF YOU'RE THERE TO WATCH • Live ball-by-ball scoring keeps you inside the game even when you can't be at the ground. • Real-time leaderboards, brackets, and match cards that update as fixtures finish. • One-tap ticket wallet — your QR is always ready at the gate. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ BEYOND THE MATCH • Backyard Shop — team gear, community drops, and limited-run merch made for players. • Partner services — book verified massage therapists, physios, turf rentals, and recovery sessions in a tap. • Membership credits — earn credits from every event and spend them on future entries, tickets, or shop drops. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY & TRUST • Sign in with Google — or plain email. Your call. • Delete your account in a single tap inside Profile → Settings. • Granular notification preferences for match updates, bookings, shop drops, and offers — turn any of them off, any time. • No third-party analytics or ad trackers. Your data stays yours. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Backyard is built by people who love the long evenings of community sport, the shared bench-seat huddles between overs, and the quiet confidence of a well-run event. We hope it gives you back the parts of hosting you love — and quietly handles the rest. Got feedback? Tap Profile → Send Feedback. We read every note.
