What you write can go out in the other person's language too, with one button next to the input box. ■ Translation runs on your own AI account There is no server of ours in between. Put in an API key you got from Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, DeepL or another service, and the text read from the screen goes straight to that service. We do not collect your conversations, do not store them, and cannot see them. The API key is stored encrypted on this device and nowhere else. Gemini can be started on a free tier with nothing but a Google account, and the app walks you to the page that issues the key. ■ It uses the accessibility service (optional) This app uses Android's accessibility service. That is the permission Android gives to assistive technology such as screen readers, and this app is not an accessibility tool. It uses that channel to read the text it has to translate. Once it is on, this app receives the contents of whatever chat app is open on screen. That text is used only for translation and goes only to the translation service you chose. It is not stored on the device, it never reaches the maker of this app, and password fields are not read. You can switch it back off in Android settings at any time. This is optional. With it off, the app still works by capturing the screen. With it on it is more accurate, it can read languages the on-screen recognizer does not cover, such as Thai, and you do not have to agree to screen sharing every time you start it. ■ Seven days free, then a single payment The seven days start at your first translation, not at install. When the trial ends, one payment for the full version keeps everything as it is. There is no monthly fee and there are no ads.
