The service is optional and is only turned on after you read an in-app disclosure and tap "Agree and continue". EveryDay uses the AccessibilityService API to: • See which app is open or visible on screen, including split screen, pop-up windows and picture-in-picture • Ask for your PIN before an app you have not approved can be used in Focus Mode, returning to the Home screen or closing a picture-in-picture window where needed • Open the notification shade when you swipe down on the Home screen Your privacy: • EveryDay does not read screen text, typed text or passwords, and does not take screenshots • Information from the AccessibilityService API stays on your device. It is never collected, sent, shared, sold or used for advertising • You can turn the service off at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility > EveryDay.
