Full description
AzDeck is an Android controller for robots, RC platforms, and DIY devices built on ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino, and LEGO hubs running Pybricks. Design your own control layout, save it as a profile, and connect over Classic Bluetooth (SPP), Bluetooth Low Energy, WebSocket, or directly to a Pybricks hub — no PC, bridge, or cloud in between. LEGO Pybricks Connect to SPIKE Prime, Robot Inventor, SPIKE Essential, City, and Technic hubs over BLE. Upload your program with the open azdeck.py library once; AzDeck finds the hub, starts the saved program on connect, and stops it on disconnect. A built-in link check confirms that your Python code is receiving commands. Features • Visual layout editor: joysticks, D-pads, buttons, sliders, servo buttons, and telemetry labels • Profiles for different robots and projects, with import and export • Configurable channel names and command rules; commands are sent as plain JSON • Transports: Bluetooth SPP, BLE, WebSocket, Pybricks • Two-way data: telemetry from the device shown on screen, ping latency in the HUD • Debug monitor with incoming and outgoing packets • Opens your firmware's own settings page (WebSocket devices) • Landscape or portrait, light and dark themes, English and Russian • Ready-made examples: mecanum drive, Pybricks pixel D-pad and two-motor demos, test connections Open libraries for your firmware • Arduino / ESP32: azdeck-lib • Pybricks: azdeck-pybricks AzDeck is built for makers, robotics clubs, classrooms, and anyone who wants a reliable local controller for their own hardware. No account, no ads, no developer servers — the app talks to your device only. LEGO, SPIKE, and MINDSTORMS are trademarks of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this app. Pybricks is an independent open-source project.
