Your handover inspection is the one real chance you get to have defects fixed before you make the final payment. Walk the house room by room The app comes loaded with a full inspection ready to go: entry, living, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, garage, plus the outside and the services most people forget to check. Each area has its own checklist written for Australian new builds. The kitchen asks about cabinetry to plan, benchtop joins, soft-close drawers and kickboards. The ensuite asks about fall to waste, silicone, tile lippage and the exhaust fan. Air conditioning asks about zoning, the condensate drain and whether every outlet on the plan was actually installed.
