Imposter: Party Word Game

Imposter is a party word game for one phone. Everyone sees the secret word except one player. The imposter bluffs and tries to blend in while the others drop hints and work out who's faking it. A round takes five minutes; the arguing lasts all night. HOW TO PLAY • Pass the phone around: each player holds the card down and secretly checks their role. • Take turns saying one word related to the secret word. • Talk over who sounded off and vote — out loud or in secret. • A caught imposter gets one last chance: name the word and they still win. WHY THIS ONE • Play right away, for free: no subscription wall before your first game. • No internet and no sign-up — great for road trips, camping and flights. • 648 words in 18 packs. Words don't repeat until a pack runs out. • Clues that make sense: give the imposter a topic, a clue word, or nothing at all. • 3 to 20 players, a discussion timer, a random first player and a running score. • Switch the game language inside the app: 10 languages for both interface and words. FREE • 6 packs and 216 words: food, animals, places, jobs, home, sports. • Classic mode, hints, timer, open voting and the scoreboard. AWAYTIX PASS • 12 more packs: travel, movies and fairy tales, school, music, tech, parties, 18+, kids and more. • Chaos mode: a random number of imposters — sometimes everyone is one. • Double word mode: the imposter gets a different word and doesn't know they're the imposter. • Up to three imposters, secret voting, your own words, no ads. • A one-time purchase with no auto-renewal that unlocks every Awaytix app. Get your friends, family or classmates together and find out who the best bluffer is.
