Whelout

Whelout is a structured workspace for tabletop tactics creators, ruleset designers and hobbyists who want to organise unit data, board layouts and custom systems in one place. It combines visual planning tools, detailed record editors and numerical comparisons for documenting project ideas. Placement board Arrange elements on a grid and move units from the bench to selected cells. Review combined attack, armour, health and range values for the current line-up, together with any active bonds shown by the app. Unit and artefact library Create cards with names, roles, costs and custom tags. Record attack, speed, magic, armour, health, critical rating, regeneration and range using fixed or percentage values. Search and filters help you return to specific entries. Commanders and bonds Configure commander modifiers, review selected parameters on a radar chart and explore different bond tiers by adjusting their values. Rule constructor Maintain separate datasets for line-ups, boards, effects and custom statistics. Create and edit records as the project develops, or remove entries using the available confirmation dialogue. Line-up comparison Compare two configurations, review the difference between their statistics and examine the contribution of individual elements. Test cards provide structured references for damage limits, bond density and project resource thresholds. Creator profile Keep a display name, motto and short note in the profile section, together with the time of the most recently opened work session. Whelout is intended for project documentation and the review of user-entered values. It is a planning utility rather than a standalone game. It does not provide online matches, matchmaking, betting, real-money services, monetary rewards or gambling functions. The app is designed for local use without mandatory registration.
