Squink Remote is the phone companion for Squink — the home media server that keeps your movies, TV shows, music and photos on your own hardware, on your own network. Browse your whole library with posters and artwork, play movies and shows on your phone, queue albums to the shared house jukebox, build playlists, and flick through your photo library. Got a Squink TV in the lounge? Squink Remote is its remote control — see what's playing, pause it, seek it, turn it down. No cloud, no subscriptions, no accounts with us. Your media never leaves your network. Requires the free Squink media server running on a computer on your Wi-Fi network.

Smoother playback • Video now streams directly from your Squink server whenever your phone can handle the format, instead of being converted first — less stalling, and much less work for your PC. • Fixed playback that could freeze, buffer or jump backwards part-way through long episodes. Updated for Android 16 • Full edge-to-edge display support.
