Auris Reader turns your EPUB and PDF books into a calm listening experience. Open a book, press play, and a natural voice reads it aloud while the current sentence is highlighted on screen — so your eyes can follow along or rest. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Read and listen to EPUB (2 and 3) and PDF. • Scanned PDFs open too: their pages are shown as images you can zoom into (these are not read aloud). • Follow the text with a highlight that moves sentence by sentence with the voice. • Pick up exactly where you left off — every book remembers its position on your device. • Organize your shelf: recent books with covers, reading progress, bookmarks, chapter navigation and in-book search. • Read your way: light, dark and sepia themes, adjustable text size, sleep timer, and keep-screen-on while listening. • Open EPUB and PDF files straight from your file manager, downloads or email. VOICES • Natural neural voices in 12 languages. They are generated online: each sentence goes to Microsoft's voice service as it is read — never the file. • No connection? Reading carries on with your phone's own voice, as long as it has one for that language, and the online voice comes back by itself. • Choose the voice you like for each language. TRANSLATE AS YOU READ • A book in another language is translated on your phone as it is read, and you hear it in yours — automatically, with no internet once the language has been downloaded. • The original is always one tap away. • An optional online fallback can be enabled for language pairs that are not available offline. CLEANER PDFs • Auris Reader profiles each PDF to filter out running headers, footers and page numbers — so the voice reads the content, not the noise.
