Full description
When disaster strikes — a wildfire, a hurricane, a flood, a blackout — cell service and the internet are often the first things to go. Aron keeps a survival library on your phone that works with no internet, no signal and no data plan. Try it: turn on Airplane Mode and open the Water topic. Aron is an independent private app. We do not represent any government entity, are not affiliated with any government entity, do not act on their behalf and do not provide government services. The library contains official documents that are publicly available; links to the original sources are at the end of this description and on the "Sources" screen inside the app. OPEN TO EVERYONE • "I'm in trouble" for Fire, Water emergency, and Evacuation & home crisis — clear, step-by-step instructions for the first minutes. • Three complete topics: Water, Fire and Preparedness. • Smart search — ask in your own words. • One-tap emergency call — the number matches your country (911, 112, 999 and more). • Whistle, SOS light and compass. • One book from our list in "My books". ARON PREMIUM — ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION • The other 5 topics: Survival, Food, Heat & cold, Natural hazards, and Attacks & terrorism. • The other 4 emergencies in "I'm in trouble": War / attack, Lost / stranded, Storm & flood, and Extreme heat & cold. • All 21 built-in manuals to read in full — when an answer comes from one, it opens right on that page. • Unlimited books from the list, with the reader and search. Pay once and it's yours. No ads, no subscription, no account. New phone or reinstall? Tap "Restore purchases" in About. WHAT'S INSIDE • 426 short answer cards across 8 topics — 103 open to everyone, the rest with Premium. Each card notes where the facts come from. • 21 real manuals (full access with Premium) — publicly available official documents: the U.S. Army Survival Manual FM 21-76 (MCRP 3-02F reprint), FEMA and Ready.gov guides, CDC materials and a U.S. Fire Administration brochure. • Smart search that understands meaning, not just keywords. An AI model runs right on your phone and handles typos. • "My books" — add books from our recommended list (EPUB, FB2, TXT or DOCX files you get yourself) and Aron searches them too. Everything stays on your phone. • English and Russian interface. HOW TO USE IT 1. In trouble? Tap the red "I'm in trouble" button, choose what happened and follow the steps. 2. Got a question? Type it the way you'd say it, like "how to purify water". 3. Getting ready? Browse the topics ahead of time — when it counts, everything is already on your phone. Tip: run one search right after installing — Aron sets up search once, then everything works instantly and offline. HONESTY AND SOURCES • The library contains only official, freely distributable documents (public domain and official government materials); every book lists its source. • Some Russian-language files are our own unofficial translations of U.S. government documents; this is stated both in the file and on the card. • Some answers are our summaries of official recommendations and survival books; every card says where the facts come from. ORIGINAL SOURCES • U.S. Marine Corps publications (FM 21-76 reissued as MCRP 3-02F) — https://www.marines.mil/News/Publications/MCPEL/ • FEMA, U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency — https://www.fema.gov • Ready.gov — https://www.ready.gov • CDC, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — https://www.cdc.gov • USFA, U.S. Fire Administration — https://www.usfa.fema.gov IMPORTANT Aron is a reference library — not a government service and not an emergency service. It does not replace doctors or emergency services: if life is in danger, call your local emergency number: 911 in the U.S. and Canada, 112 in Europe; the app fills in the right number for your country. Aron is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat. For medical advice, see a professional. Questions and feedback: [email protected]
