Nonogram Challenger is picture logic (also called Picross or Griddlers): the numbers around the grid tell you which squares to fill, and a picture appears when you are right. ■ Only boards that logic can solve Every board is generated and then tested. If it cannot be solved by row and column reasoning alone, it is thrown away. You never have to guess. ■ 120 stages that grow with you Boards start at 5x5, then 7x7, 10x10, 12x12 and finally 15x15. Every fifth stage is a breather with a smaller grid. Roughly every third stage is left-right symmetric, so it looks like a picture. ■ Fill and cross Fill a square that should stay empty and it counts as a mistake, and the square is crossed for you. Crossing a wrong square costs you nothing, so you can think out loud on the board. ■ Classic and daily Classic runs from 5x5 up to 20x20 in five steps and keeps your best time for each.
