Attenova

Attenova is a smart attendance management platform built for universities, replacing paper registers and manual roll calls with face-verified, location-checked attendance that's fast for students and trustworthy for staff. HOW IT WORKS Students mark attendance in seconds with on-device face verification and liveness detection, cross-checked against GPS location to confirm they're actually at the class, chapel service, or hostel check-in — no proxy attendance, no manual signing. FOR EVERY ROLE ON CAMPUS • Students — mark attendance, track history, request leave/permission, view notices, pay semester fees • Lecturers — manage classes, view live attendance as it happens, scan exam passes, review permission requests, export reports • Hostel Managers — track resident check-ins, manage hostel attendance and requests • Admins — oversee the whole school: users, classes, attendance records, and reporting across departments KEY FEATURES • Face verification with liveness detection — stops spoofed or proxy attendance • GPS-verified check-ins for class, chapel, and hostel attendance • QR code exam pass scanning for fast, verifiable exam check-in • Chapel attendance tracking, with dedicated tools for chapel leaders • Live class map — lecturers can see attendance happening in real time • Leave and permission request workflows, with approval tracking • Semester fee payments, handled securely through Paystack • Downloadable PDF reports for attendance, classes, and payments • Push notifications for classes, approvals, and important updates • Quick, secure app login with fingerprint or Face ID • Works offline — attendance queues and syncs once you're back online • Built for multiple institutions — each school gets its own space, students and staff sign in under their own school BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND Face recognition is processed on-device — your photo never leaves your phone. Only a mathematical representation used for matching is stored, and you're always in control: you can request your data or withdraw biometric consent at any time from Settings.
