Cryo: Game Booster & GFX Tool

Cryo gives Android gamers control over settings that normally need ADB: the render resolution of the games you pick, which background apps may run, the refresh rate and Do Not Disturb. It needs no root, but it does need Shizuku. SHIZUKU IS REQUIRED Cryo sends its commands through Shizuku, a free open-source app that gives apps ADB shell access without root. Without Shizuku, resolution scaling, freezing, Focus Mode, the FPS counter, the 60 Hz lock and Do Not Disturb do not work, and the monitor shows only what Android lets an ordinary app read, such as free RAM and battery temperature. Cryo walks you through the one-time Shizuku setup (Wireless debugging, Android 11 and newer). Depending on your phone, Shizuku may have to be started again after a reboot. GAME RENDER RESOLUTION (GFX TOOL) • Pick one render scale for the games you tick, from 100% down to 30% in 5% steps • Game buffer mode (recommended on Android 13 and newer) uses Android's built-in Game Mode downscaling: only that game renders at the lower resolution, the rest of the phone stays sharp • Fullscreen mode changes the screen resolution (wm size) only while a game you picked is on screen, and puts it back when you leave • Resolution Lock re-applies your scale if a game resets it mid-match • Only the games you tick are affected A lower render resolution means the GPU draws fewer pixels per frame. How much that changes frame rate or temperature depends on the game and the phone, and many games cap their own frame rate. Some phone makers block these commands. FREEZE BACKGROUND APPS • See the apps running on your phone and how much RAM they use • Four freeze levels per app: Light (blocks background work), Medium (force stop), Strong (the app cannot open until you unfreeze it) and Extreme (disabled and hidden from the launcher) • Focus Mode: when a game you picked comes to the screen, Cryo freezes background apps you have not pinned, and unfreezes them when you leave the game • Pin the apps you never want frozen, such as messaging, alarms or banking • Unfreeze any app in one tap. Nothing is uninstalled unless you choose Uninstall FLOATING MONITOR • A small window over your game with the values you choose: FPS of the app on screen, CPU load, GPU load, free RAM, CPU, GPU and battery temperature • FPS, CPU load and GPU load need Shizuku. Some phones do not expose GPU load or CPU and GPU temperature at all; Cryo hides a value it cannot read instead of guessing • Move it or collapse it at any time GAME SWITCHES • AFK screen: a black overlay with brightness at 0 while the game keeps running underneath; double-tap to wake. The game still uses battery, only the display draws less • 60 Hz lock: sets the display to 60 Hz on phones that allow it; switching it off restores the default refresh rate • Do Not Disturb while a game you picked is on screen EVERY CHANGE CAN BE UNDONE Before Cryo changes screen resolution, brightness, refresh rate or Do Not Disturb, it records the original value and restores it when you turn the feature off or leave the game. If Android closes Cryo or the phone restarts mid-game, Cryo restores those values as soon as it can run again with Shizuku. PRIVACY No account, no login, no sign-up.
