Moonlit Library: Escape Room

The Moonlit Library is a 3D escape room puzzle game. Slide giant bookshelves, guide the moonlight and escape a monastery's underground library before dawn — a short escape game you can finish in about 15 minutes. Deep beneath a mountain monastery lies a great library. You are an apprentice scribe. As you finish tidying up for the night, you find the door barred from outside. Before dawn, you must climb the bell tower and ring the bell for Matins. ■ Shifting stacks Four towering bookshelves slide along rails in the floor when you turn the wheel at their end. Only one aisle can be open at a time — and which one you open changes where you can go and where the light can reach. ■ See it from above Climb the ladder to the gallery and look down on the tops of the shelves, hidden from anyone standing on the floor. Something has been painted there… ■ Guide the moonlight Moonlight from the great rose window is blocked by the shelves. Open the right aisle and the light crosses the valley of books to the lectern, where silver writing rises from a blank page. ■ The bell tower at dawn Beyond the last door wait the mountains at sunrise and the bell tower. ■ For players who ・love observing carefully and solving puzzles through inspiration ・enjoy mechanisms only possible in 3D: moving shelves, beams of light ・want a short adventure you can finish in about 15 minutes ■ Easy to play ・Portrait mode, playable with one hand ・Three-level hints.
