Full description
Lexirion is a calm e-book reader for EPUB, PDF, FB2, TXT, DOCX, RTF, and CBZ comics — read, listen, and explore public-domain classics, all without an account. READ Open EPUB, PDF, FB2, TXT, DOCX, RTF, or CBZ files from anywhere on your phone — a book packed in a ZIP opens too — or download books straight from the built-in classics catalog. Word documents read like books, without complex tables; RTF keeps its text, formatting, and footnotes, but not pictures or tables. Fine-tune the page to your eyes: font, size, line spacing, margins, and four themes — light, sepia, dark, or auto — and add your own TrueType or OpenType fonts. LISTEN Let Lexirion read EPUB, FB2, TXT, DOCX, and RTF books aloud with your device's built-in text-to-speech. Adjust the speed, skip sentence by sentence, choose the reading language when a book doesn't give the right one, and keep listening from exactly where you left off. PDF WITH ITS TEXT On Android 15 and newer, a PDF is more than pictures of pages: search its text, listen to it, and ask about the pages you have read. A scanned PDF has no text, and the app tells you so. EXPLORE Browse two free public-domain libraries built in — Project Gutenberg in English and Wikisource in Russian — or add an OPDS book feed of your own, and its books open right in the app. KEEP YOUR PLACE Bookmarks, highlighted passages with your own notes, and reading stats with a daily streak, all saved on your device. Turn on the optional backup, and your reading places, bookmarks, and notes are also kept in your own Google Drive — without the book files — ready to come back on a new phone. A home-screen widget shows the book you're reading and how far you've got, and opens it with one tap. ASK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE READING (optional) Select a passage and tap Ask, or tap Ask in the bottom panel about the story so far. Pick a ready question — who is this, what led up to this, say it simply — or type your own and keep asking. Google Gemini answers and is asked to keep to what you've already read. A few questions a day are free with nothing to set up, and your own free key lifts the limit. Nothing is sent until you ask. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account needed, no analytics, no ads. Your library, progress, bookmarks, and notes live on your device; the optional backup goes straight to your own Google Drive, and we run no server of our own. The only network requests are the ones you ask for: browsing a catalog, downloading a book, an optional AI question, or that backup. Available in English, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, and Chinese.

What's new

• PDF on Android 15 and newer: search the text, listen to the book, and ask about what you have read so far. • Backup in Google Drive: reading places, bookmarks and notes go straight to your own Drive, without the book files. Off until you turn it on. • In catalogues like Project Gutenberg’s, a book now opens in one tap instead of two.
