AR Draw Anime: Trace Sketch

AR Draw Anime turns your phone into a tracing tool. Point the camera at your paper, place any photo or template on top of it, and draw what you see. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Most tracing apps stick the image to your screen, so the drawing slides out of place the moment your hand moves. On phones that support ARCore, the app pins the image to the paper itself. Move the phone, lift it, come back an hour later — the image is still exactly where you put it, at the same size and angle. It behaves like a real sheet of tracing paper. On phones without ARCore, the app automatically falls back to a classic screen overlay with a lock button, so it works everywhere. TRACE ANYTHING • Import any photo from your gallery • 16 detailed line-art templates in three sets • Pinch to resize, twist to rotate, tap to place LEARN TO DRAW ANIME ANIME — a close-up eye, a pair of eyes, a girl's face, a boy's face, a chibi, a magical girl, a samurai, a cat girl, a school girl, a ninja and an angel. PRACTICE — a sheet of six hands, six hair styles, and a full-body proportion guide. CREATURES — a winged dragon and a fluffy cat. Start with the eye until the lash line feels natural, then the face, then the proportion guide. TOOLS BUILT FOR DRAWING, NOT FOR SHOW • Cut out the background — one tap isolates the subject of your photo and drops the background away, so you trace the thing you care about and nothing else • Edges mode — turns a photo into clean contour lines on a transparent background, so you can see your paper through it instead of a flat colour block • Sketch mode — a soft pencil rendering of your photo • Grayscale mode — removes colour so you can read values • Opacity slider — from a faint guide to a solid reference • Lock — freeze the placement so you cannot nudge it while drawing • Grid — rule-of-thirds guides to check proportions • Mirror — flip the reference horizontally • Torch — light your paper when your own hand shadows it • The screen stays awake for the whole session PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your camera feed is never recorded and never uploaded. Photos you import are copied into the app's own storage and stay on your phone. There is no account and no sign-up. FREE Every template is free. There is no subscription, nothing to buy, and no account to create. Short videos may be offered to unlock extra template use — never to interrupt you while you are drawing. Works best with the phone on a stand, in even light, over matte paper.
