Linux adds system authentication unlock via polkit, Windows gains automatic locking during system inactivity, and Bitwarden supports direct FIDO2 two-factor authentication alongside DNS auto-discovery. Desktop exports are now saved atomically with owner-only file permissions, application startup is faster, and secrets in memory are cleared more thoroughly.
