EcoMemo

EcoMemo is an educational game that helps children exercise short-term memory in a light and fun way, through a trail of forest animals. HOW IT WORKS The child watches a sequence of animals light up on the screen, then has to repeat the same order by tapping the icons. Each correct round makes the sequence a little longer; each mistake makes it shorter — difficulty adjusts automatically to each child's pace. DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN WITH ATTENTION DIFFICULTIES EcoMemo includes scheduled sensory breaks every few levels, with a visible countdown, encouraging the child to move for a few seconds before continuing — a gentle way to help reset focus. CLEAR, IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK Every correct tap lights up green, every wrong tap lights up red, giving the child an instant, easy-to-understand visual response. PROGRESS TRACKING FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS A progress screen shows, in simple terms, how many rounds were played, accuracy, average reaction time, and the longest sequence reached — useful to support conversations with therapists or healthcare professionals (not a diagnostic tool). AVAILABLE IN 5 LANGUAGES English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Italian, switchable at any time. PRIVACY FIRST EcoMemo shows no ads, collects no personal data, and sends no information to any server — all progress is saved only on the device itself. EcoMemo was created as part of a research project on digital games applied to working memory training in children with ADHD.
