Vegkamera is a road-awareness map for Norwegian drivers with real-time information about what lies ahead on your route. What's shown on the map: • Speed cameras and average-speed (stretch) zones • Traffic messages – road closures, accidents, and roadworks • Rest areas with parking capacity • Ferry quays • Toll booths • Traffic measurement stations with live camera images • Norwegian Police Log – active police operations near you • Weather, temperature, and UV index Route planning Plan a route to any address and see distance, driving time, ETA, and toll cost up front. Turn-by-turn guidance follows your trip, with the road features along the way shown in order. A vehicle profile lets you avoid toll roads or ferries and route by vehicle size and weight. Alerts while you drive The app gives you audio alerts well in advance of speed cameras, traffic incidents, and toll booths. Alerts use GPS and driving direction – you only hear about things that are ahead of you on the road. GPS and road reference The app shows your precise position, speed, and road system reference (VSR) from the Norwegian Road Administration (NVDB) in real time. Offline road lookup works without a network connection. Geotagged photos Take photos with a built-in GPS and road-reference HUD directly in the app. Photos are saved with coordinates and road system reference for easy documentation of road conditions.
