No special hardware needed — ARLink works on any ARCore-compatible Android device. **Advanced positioning technology** ARLink uses a multi-layer positioning system for maximum accuracy: • GPS • ARCore Visual Inertial Odometry for sub-metre precision • Google Nearby Connections for peer-to-peer position sharing • WiFi anchor crowdsourcing for indoor use • Work with multi-floor buildings • GPS mode — AR objects stay visible even when ARCore can't see **AI Assistant** Talk to Gemini AI through the app — it can see your AR world and help you discover nearby objects and friends.
