ARevo Scanner checks if a file is truly what its extension claims it to be. A file named "invoice.pdf" might not actually be a PDF. ARevo Scanner analyzes the file's actual content, compares it with the declared extension, and tells you if they match. WHAT YOU'LL SEE ✅ Safe — the extension matches the detected file type ⚠️ Suspicious — could not be determined with certainty ❌ Dangerous — the extension does NOT match the actual content IMPORTANT: ARevo Scanner is NOT an antivirus. It does not detect malware, viruses, or threats. "Dangerous" simply means the file is not the type it appears to be. It is a useful indicator, not a definitive security verdict.
