This API is necessary to intercept the repeated pressing of the physical volume buttons and trigger the emergency alarm even when the device screen is off or locked, ensuring rapid action without having to look at the phone. The app does not use the Accessibility service to collect, record, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.
