Arctic Fish Quest

Arctic Fish Quest throws the square board away. The catch sits on a wheel, three rings deep and twelve sectors around, and the only thing you can do is put a finger on a ring and drag it round. The ring turns sector by sector under your finger and everything on it travels together, past the top and round again, because the board has no edges at all. Two kinds of match come out of that. Three or more of one fish standing next to each other along a ring is a run, and it wraps, so a run can start at sector eleven and finish at sector one. The other kind runs the other way. When the inner, middle and outer ring all hold the same fish in one sector, that spoke counts too. Chasing both at once is the whole trick, because a ring you turn to build a spoke drags eleven other fish somewhere new. Every quest sets a score to reach and a number of spins to reach it in. Fish that come out of the wheel are replaced straight away, and a replacement that lands on another match keeps the cascade going, paying more with each further step. Spins you never used and tools you never touched are added when the quest is won. Two tools sit under the wheel. The compass looks at every possible turn of every ring and tells you which one pays the most, twice per quest. The tide picks the whole wheel up and puts every fish down somewhere else, once per quest, for when nothing is lining up. Twelve quests run from the cold start out to the pole end, each opening when the one before it is finished, and each keeps your best score for it. Eight relics track cascades, wide sweeps, quests finished without tools and the long totals. The voyager board ranks your best quest against the rest of the crew. The game is portrait, works fully offline, and contains no account, no advertising and nothing to buy. All of it is stored on your device, and one button in the settings clears everything.
