ArborVPN — Simple VPN Connection and Session Information ArborVPN helps establish a VPN connection on Android. Connect with a tap, choose a United States option, view a masked exit IP, and follow connection information. HOW TO CONNECT 1. Choose a United States entry. 2. Tap Connect and approve the system VPN request. 3. View the timer, speed, selected option, and exit IP. 4. Tap Disconnect or Stop to end the session. SESSION AVAILABILITY The current configuration limits each VPN session to about five minutes. ArborVPN shows elapsed and remaining time and disconnects when time expires. Rules may change. Unlimited duration or uninterrupted availability is not promised. NETWORK AND DATA INFORMATION To show exit-network information, ArborVPN may contact a public IP provider, currently ipinfo.io. It can receive the VPN egress IP, request time, user-agent information, and standard request metadata. The interface partially masks standard IPv4 addresses. Other address formats may not receive the same masking, so review the screen before sharing it. The app or included components may keep limited local information needed for operation, such as the selected node, configuration values, session timing, connection state, and cached IP information. Android backup or device-transfer features may process app preferences when enabled. A masked address does not mean no network party can observe connection metadata. VPN OPERATION AND PERMISSIONS ArborVPN uses Android's VpnService to create a TUN interface and route traffic through the selected configuration. A foreground service keeps the user-started tunnel operating in the background. Android displays an ongoing notification so the VPN remains visible and controllable. It can show transfer rates and provides a Stop action. VPN access is requested through Android's consent screen. Internet and network-state access support connectivity, network changes, and exit-IP checks. Notification permission, where required, supports the foreground notification. The service is declared as special use with subtype “vpn_tunnel.” PRIVACY AND RESPONSIBLE USE Traffic passes through VPN or proxy infrastructure. Infrastructure and technical providers may process network requests, connection credentials, routing information, session values, egress addresses, and metadata as needed to transmit traffic, authenticate access, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, or comply with law. ArborVPN does not guarantee complete anonymity or protection from every online risk. Use ArborVPN lawfully. Do not use it to infringe rights, attack networks, distribute harmful material, bypass restrictions unlawfully, or violate service terms. Continue using HTTPS, strong account security, updated software, and device protections. Performance depends on the device, provider, network, location, routing, and service capacity. IMPORTANT NODE INFORMATION ArborVPN lists eight United States entries. In the reviewed configuration, all map to the same US country code. The node file does not establish that they are separate physical servers or specify distinct cities, hosts, IP addresses, ports, gateways, or exit addresses. Availability, routing, speed, and IP information can vary. No location or performance result is guaranteed.
