Features & Proprietary Technology PocketGiz features a vastly expanded, custom engineered backend tailored specifically for the unique architecture of the Gizmondo. Our latest update introduces massive leaps in emulation accuracy and hardware integration: Full Library Compatibility: We have achieved full Gizmondo game library support. Graphics and sound processing have been completely overhauled and fixed, allowing the entire retail and homebrew catalog to run as originally intended. Hardware Abstraction Layers: PocketGiz now bridges your device's physical hardware directly to the emulator. Games can seamlessly access your modern Camera, Bluetooth, and GPS data—meaning classic Gizmondo multiplayer over Bluetooth is now fully functional! Hardware-Accurate Rendering: Fixed 320x240 screen aspect ratios ensure games render exactly as they did on original hardware, with zero ugly stretching, warping, or screen tearing. This perfectly fixes both portrait and landscape mode rendering. Authentic Gizmondo Controls: True-to-life hardware button mapping recreates the Gizmondo’s unique D-Pad and multi-media action cluster (Play, Stop, Fwd, Rew) in a highly responsive on-screen virtual pad. KGSDK Interception: Arbitrary KGSDK runtime patches intercept proprietary Windows CE calls, allowing physical Gizmondo game dumps to boot seamlessly. How to Play & Customize Note: PocketGiz does NOT include any game files or ROMs. You must own and provide your own legally obtained games. Simply tap the + ADD button in the PocketGiz dashboard to open your device's file browser. Select your Gizmondo or Windows Mobile .cab or .zip files, and PocketGiz will automatically extract, install, and add them to your virtual library. New Feature: Custom SD Card Stickers! You can now personalize your dashboard with custom game graphics. To add a custom sticker to a game's SD card tile: Create an image file and name it exactly sticker.png (a resolution of 600x300 pixels is recommended for the sharpest look on modern displays). Place this sticker.png file directly into your game's .zip archive, right next to the main game executable. Import the game into PocketGiz. The app will automatically detect your custom graphic upon extraction and proudly display it on your library grid!
