Apporo aiot is the companion app for the Apporo AP-1004S and AP-1005S building controllers. Pair it with a controller that you or your integrator has already commissioned, and the rooms, floors and plant it looks after become reachable from your phone. The controller does the integration work. It speaks KNX, BACnet, Modbus and DALI, so lighting circuits, air conditioning, blinds and metering end up under one roof — an office floor, a retail unit, a hotel wing, or a private house. This app is the window onto that. WHAT THE APP DOES - Dashboards: open the layouts configured on your controller and operate lighting, air conditioning, blinds, scenes and anything else it publishes - Notifications: receive the alerts your controller raises, from an alarm input to a plant fault or a door left open - Phone signals: optionally report battery, connectivity and similar status back to the controller so your automations can use it. Every signal is individually switchable, and none is required - Widgets: place a scene, a switch or a sensor reading on your home screen and act on it without opening the app - NFC tags: write a tag once, then tap it to trigger a controller action at that spot BEFORE YOU INSTALL - A commissioned Apporo controller is required. The app does nothing on its own, and there is nothing to evaluate without one. - Your integrator or facility administrator issues your account and the address to connect to. - Reaching the controller from outside the building depends on remote access that your administrator sets up. DATA AND PRIVACY Device states and history live on the controller in your building; the app reads them from there directly over your own connection. Push notifications are routed through Apporo's own relay and then delivered to your device by Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging, the standard Android notification channel.
