Mantra Lock helps you build a prayer habit by gently locking distracting apps until you chant. How it works: 1. Choose apps to protect (games, dating, social, or anything you pick) — free tier covers up to 7 apps; Premium unlocks unlimited 2. When you open one and your unlock window is over, a serene chant screen appears 3. Read along (or play the mantra aloud with offline speech) 4. Open the app for a short grace period — then chant again when it expires Daily limits: Set 30 / 60 / 90 minutes or a custom daily limit. When today’s usage hits the limit, chant to continue. (Android does not share Digital Wellbeing timers with other apps, so Mantra Lock tracks usage with Usage Access.) Focus vs Standard: Games, dating, and social can be Focus apps (full chant required). Other apps allow Skip for emergency. Private by design: No accounts. No ads. No analytics. Everything stays on your phone. Permissions explained: • Usage Access — know when a protected app is open and track daily time • Display over other apps — show the chant screen • Notifications — keep protection running • Battery unrestricted — stop phones from killing the lock overnight Honest note: this is habit support, not a hard jail. Force-stop, uninstall, or revoke Usage Access can bypass it. Pair with Digital Wellbeing for stronger system limits.
