Kinso is a habit tracker that doesn't reset your streak when you miss one day. Most habit apps run the same loop: don't break the chain. You keep it for 41 days, you get sick once, the counter goes to zero, and you delete the app. Kinso is built differently. STREAK RESCUE Missed a day? You can repair it within 48 hours using a Shield. You earn Shields for free by completing a 7-day streak. Out of Shields? Watch a short video and rescue the day. Never required — always your choice. Rescue has hard limits: max 2 days per week, never two days in a row. Unlimited rescue would make the streak meaningless. Rescued days look different on your grid, because Kinso reports the truth, not a prettier chart. HABIT STRENGTH One number, 0 to 100. Every completion raises it, every miss lowers it — but no single day wipes it out. Two weeks of consistency reaches 50, four weeks reaches 75. Streak tells you "right now". Strength tells you "is this actually a habit yet". GOALS THAT ADAPT TO YOU You didn't fail "30 minutes of meditation daily" — the goal did. Kinso reads your last 14 days and offers a concrete step down: "You kept 4 of the last 14 days. Move from daily to 6 days a week?" Going strong? It offers the opposite. A small goal you keep beats a big goal you miss. INTENTION CARDS Bind each habit to a cue: "After my morning coffee, I will walk for 10 minutes."
