Hisaab - Household Payments

Hisaab keeps the two money jobs every household repeats each month: paying the people who work in your home, and paying the bills you keep forgetting. It works entirely on your phone. There is no account to make, no server to trust, and no ads. The app does not even ask Android for internet permission, so your records cannot leave the device unless you export them yourself. PEOPLE WHO WORK IN YOUR HOME • Salaried staff — maid, cook, driver, gardener. Monthly salary with a pay day. • Delivered by quantity — milk, water, newspapers. A price per unit and a daily quantity. • Flat monthly vendors — one fixed amount every month. • Mark attendance in one tap: present, leave, half day, holiday. Set weekly offs once. • Paid-leave allowance per person, with extra leave deducted at the rate you choose. • Advances, bonuses, extra work and deductions, each dated and attached to a month. • Salary and rate revisions keep their history, so past months never change. A MONTH-END STATEMENT THAT ADDS UP Every settlement shows its full arithmetic: salary, leave deduction with the per-day rate, advances, bonuses, and anything carried forward from last month. The lines always sum to the total, because the maths uses exact fractions and rounds once. Settle a month to close it; reopen it later and the following months recalculate themselves. Share a payment slip as an image when someone wants proof of what they were paid. BILLS YOU KEEP FORGETTING • Monthly, every N months, yearly, or every N days. • Fixed amounts, or variable ones you enter when the bill arrives. • Credit cards with statement day, due day, total and minimum due — last 4 digits only. • Auto-pay, snooze, pause, cancel, partial payments, and a price-change history. • Reminders before a bill is due, when it is overdue, when a statement is ready, and when a free trial is about to end. Mark paid or snooze straight from the notification. THE MONTH AT A GLANCE • Home shows what you have paid, what is overdue and what falls due in the next seven days. • A calendar in month, week or day views, with attendance and deliveries markable in place. • Reports: where the money went, six months of trend, each person's year, and what your subscriptions will cost you over the next twelve months. • Export any month to CSV. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no trackers. • No internet permission, so nothing can be uploaded in the background. • Card numbers are never stored — only the last four digits. • Optional app lock using your fingerprint, face or screen lock, and the app hides its contents in the app switcher while the lock is on. • Back up to a single file you control, and restore it on a new phone. The app keeps safety copies before every restore, so a restore can itself be undone. BUILT FOR INDIAN HOUSEHOLDS Amounts are grouped in lakhs, the rupee is the default currency, and the app understands the way household help is actually paid — monthly salaries, paid leaves, festival advances and daily deliveries. Hisaab means "account" or "reckoning". That is all this app tries to be: an honest reckoning of what you owe and what you have paid, kept on your own phone.
