Full description
Shared virtual rooms for medical education and case discussion. HoloMedicine® Spaces turns your headset into a meeting room for 3D medicine. Several people join the same room, see the same anatomy at true scale in front of them, and talk it through together — wherever each of them happens to be. Rooms are prepared in the browser and opened in XR. A clinician or teacher uploads a case in the Spaces web app, arranges the content in a room template, decides who may enter and schedules the session. Participants put on a headset, sign in, and walk straight into the finished room. In the room • View 3D anatomical models and volumes reconstructed from real imaging data, displayed as holograms • Rotate, scale, move and slice the content to look inside it • Show supporting images, videos and PDF documents on the room walls • Talk to the other participants by voice and see what they are pointing at Prepare a case in minutes (web) • Upload DICOM series, 3D models (STL, OBJ, GLB, FBX), images, videos and PDFs • DICOM series are converted automatically into 3D volumes; models are optimised for the headset • Optional automatic segmentation of anatomical structures • Pick a room template and place your content in it • Keep a room private and invite named participants, or publish it; schedule a session for later Who it is for Medical faculties and their students, hospital departments preparing case reviews, tumor boards and teaching rounds, surgical teams discussing a plan together before the procedure, and medical societies running sessions for a distributed audience. What you need • A HoloMedicine® account — create one at holomedicine.health • Wi-Fi with internet access; around 30 Mbit/s is recommended for multi-user sessions • A desktop browser to prepare rooms in the Spaces web app Data and privacy Spaces is built for anonymized material: cases are shown under a system-generated identifier, never under a patient name. Content enters the system only through a deliberate upload by a signed-in user — Spaces does not connect to PACS, HIS or any other hospital system. All traffic leaving the headset is encrypted, and content downloaded for a session is removed when the application is uninstalled. Important HoloMedicine® Spaces is a tool for education, training and collaboration. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended for diagnosis, for treatment planning or for primary clinical decision-making.
