Mabeyn: The Sultan's Decree

Mabeyn: The Sultan's Decree is a game of choices and balance, inspired by Ottoman history. The glory of the throne has been told many times. Mabeyn turns instead to what lies behind it: solitude, suspicion, and the weight of command. Your ancestors ruled for centuries. Not by power alone, but by holding fragile balances together. Now the throne is yours. Before you lie imperial decrees, reports from the palace, the expectations of the people, the demands of the army, the limits of the treasury, and the burden of religious legitimacy. Every matter offers two paths. You make a decision; the balances shift. Strengthen one side, and another may weaken. A choice that seems right today may return years later as a new crisis. Your goal appears simple: remain on the throne for 50 years. But a reign is not merely survival. How you rule, how you face crises, and which path you choose all matter. At the end of every reign, the trace of your decisions is revealed. Features: • Short but tense decision-based runs • A glimpse into the inner world of a sultan • Simple left-or-right card swipe gameplay • Choices whose consequences may return later • Different paths of rule and unlockable outcomes • A Reign Ledger that reveals your style of government • A restrained visual style inspired by Ottoman history and palace atmosphere In Mabeyn, every decision leaves a mark. Remain on the throne for 50 years. Follow the path of your ancestors — or carve your own.
